The Bowman, GA, Special Events Committee is currently on the search for anyone interested in entering this year's Christmas Parade on December 6th at 2 PM. We are encouraging groups of all kinds to participate, whether you're a business, a school club, a farm with horses, a dance troupe, a social club, a sports group, or anything else!
Government officials, school-related groups, and children wishing to participate by decoring bicycles, Barbie cars, etc. are totally FREE, but please do still complete our parade form. If you do not fall into one of these categories, there is a $20 fee to enter, and entries will be judged for a chance to win $50, $75, or $100. We will begin meeting for lineup at 12 PM at the Bowman Community Park. The deadline to sign up for the Bowman Christmas Parade is December 4th.
The theme for this year's parade is "Winter Wonderland," and the only rule is that you must somehow convey this theme (any other specific expectations are outlined before you enter the application and within the application itself).
